Tales Told Again specializes in preserving personal histories in audio, video and photo book formats.  We work with families, businesses and community organizations in the North Carolina Piedmont region.

            At Tales Told Again we emphasize saving the stories.  The most important work we do is capturing our clients' stories.  Once captured, sharing options can be explored.  Some families want to have DVD versions of video interviews, some families prefer audio CDs.  Other families want a photo book with captions, or a DVD of photos with narration.  It is not necessary to appear in a video, if  you feel camera shy.  Many of our clients are the children of those whose stories we record. The recipient of the story session is always immensely flattered.

            “I knew I had a lot of history to tell them, but they never asked.”  is a typical comment. The planning and taping sessions are enjoyable for the story teller as well.

Research has shown that reminiscing can have beneficial effects, both emotionally and physically.
